I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Clemson University where I write and teach at the intersection of American Studies, Indigenous Studies, and the Environmental Humanities. Before arriving at Clemson, I worked in the  American and Colonialism Studies programs within the Consortium of Studies in Race, Colonialism, and Diaspora at Tufts University and before that was an Assistant Professor of American Modernism and Co-Director of the Literature, Social Justice, and the Environment program at Texas Tech University. I've also been a Visiting Scholar at the American Indian Studies Center within the Institute of American Culture at UCLA and a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at the College of Wooster. My PhD is in English and Indigenous Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
